Team GB - Who's in Action Today at Rio 2016

At Shrewsbury Family Chiropractic, we always aim to improve health and wellbeing, so we are encouraging everyone to get into sport. When pushing our bodies into a new sport, it’s always helpful to have a chiropractic check up to make sure you are at 100%. We will be providing daily updates about Team GB and who to watch out for.

It all starts tonight on the BBC with the countdown to Rio from 20:30 with Clare Balding followed shortly after by the Rio opening ceremony at 23:40.

Although some of the action has already started, it will all be heating up on Saturday with Chris Froome and the road race in the cycling from 13:30, where he is hoping to secure his first Olympic medal. Will he be able to? Watch and see on the BBC (TV, online and the red button). Also aiming for his first Olympic medal is Ashley McKenzie in the Judo. He shot to gold in the Commonwealth Games in 2014 but will he be able to follow up at Rio? Heats start from 14:00 with the final at 21:00.
